We have also been using CASPer for one admissions cycle and have had similar experiences. CASPer has help to triangulate the data we are collecting through other means and anecdotally, it has also helped especially with those we were leaning toward not accepting.
I have also found CASPer (Atlas Assessments) to be extremely helpful in all areas of admissions. I recently attended and presented at their on-line admission summit earlier this month. Our department also applied for a grant through their ALO fund and although we did not receive the grant we were given some seed money to begin our research on admitting underrepresented populations.
Please let me know if you have any further questions about our experience.

Yes, we started using CASPer last year. Since we have only used it with one admission cycle, we have not been able to fully assess its impact as part of our selection process. Anecdotally, it did appear to correlate to issues we saw during part of our special interview process, and confirmed those we otherwise decided to not accept. Time will tell if it helps to determine how accepted candidates may do in their professional behaviors in the classroom and fieldwork.

Subject: [OT-PD List - AOTA] - Is anyone using a situational judgement test as part of OT admissions?
Hello all!
I am wondering if any OT programs are using situational judgement test (SJT) like CASper as part of the OT admissions process? If so which one and any findings on the impact? It appears that more and more PA and med schools are using these as a means to predict professional behaviors. Just curious if OT programs are moving in this direction.
From the CASper website https://takecasper.com/about-casper/: "Situational judgement tests (SJTs) are a type of psychological test which presents the test-taker with realistic, hypothetical scenarios and may ask the individual what they would do in the dilemma and why they would do it.
Situational judgement tests tend to determine behavioral tendencies, assessing how an individual will behave in a certain situation, and knowledge instruction, which evaluates the effectiveness of possible responses.
