Hi everyone! We are in our second cycle of using CASPer and have been pleased with it thus far. As Kate stated it has validated and triangulated some of the data, we were collecting during our match day process. I would say without formal research to back it up we have really seen it highlight those who we had some questions about (also scored low) and those who scored high in our match day also scored high. I have yet to see any correlations with more the middle of the road type applicant, but we have not had a cohort graduate or go on fieldwork yet that took CASPer. I will also say that Atlus Assessments had a great virtual conference this year on admission practices and several faculty in our department applied for a grant to look at some research to improve diversity in our applicant/student body. Although we did not receive the grant funding, they did give us seed money to start working on the project and encouraged us to apply for the grant again next year. So I have found them to be especially supportive and easy to work with over the 2 years. I'm happy to talk to anyone by phone or Zoom about our experiences with CASPer.

Hello,

We adopted CASPer this year for our MOT and OTD applicants. We have not been through a full cycle, but we are excited to see what it has to offer as our scores start coming in. We also adopted their new snapshot tool this year. I do know College of Saint Mary's (PD: Kristin Haas khaas@csm.edu<mailto:khaas@csm.edu>) has worked with it for a few years and I talked with her before we signed our contract. If you go on the CASPer website to 'schedule an exam' when you pick the profession you can see what programs are utilizing the tool now. https://takecasper.com/ > https://takecasper.com/dates-times/

Good luck! We can definitely share more once we have more experience with it this cycle.

Good morning and best wishes on your fall launches! I am wondering if anyone can provide thoughts on the use of this tool for a more holistic admissions process? Just completed the webinar today through AOTA and am interested but would love to hear from anyone who uses it? Is considering it? OR has created a similar (in-house) assessment of personal/professional attributes? I trust in the thought and evidence behind it, however it does add an additional fee for the applicants, in an already costly landscape of OTCAS and in general, higher ed, but wondering about ROI in terms of highlighting a more diverse population of individuals?

Thanks so much!
