It is good to hear other programs are having the same issue with response rates from employers. Our response rates are also low.

Thought I'd share this information that the SLP accreditation body has eliminated this requirement as the response rates are so poor and no meaningful data is collected. Perhaps ACOTE can do the same. Reporting on 2-3 surveys as percentages skews the data and is misleading.

Good Morning!

In accordance with ACOTE standard A.6.3 for program evaluation, we need to provide information on "Graduates’ job placement and performance as determined by employer satisfaction."  Over the past several years we are seeing less and less of a return rate for employer surveys (n=0-5).  We have modified our employer survey to be only 2 questions, use LinkedIn to keep track of our graduates and employer information and provide several follow up reminders for both students and employers to seek this information, yet the trend continues to decrease.  Does anyone have any other strategies that they have utilized to increase the rate of return from employers to gather this information?
