Missi- Technology use is different than distance education. We are an in-person program and we use Blackboard for all of our exams, we use discussion boards, and other technologies for student assignments such as flipgrid.

Does anyone have any insight into what threshold would make “any portion of the program…distance education?” (A.2.15)

We are an onsite program, so all of our lectures and class meetings are in person. We also exam with scan-tron and pencil in order to avoid any hint at “distance education”, as we do not complete that ACOTE standard. I had a faculty member ask about online exams and discussion boards, so I am trying to explore where that threshold lies. We are not trying to hover near the line, just trying to use technology safely in the realm of “onsite education”.
