At our university, GAs are only paid by tuition payment. There is a formula that is used for the amount of work required for each credit of GA awarded (i.e. 1 credit= 3 hours of work per week/14 weeks). It works out to a little more than $23 per hour.

Good morning,
If you have Graduate Assistants for your program, would you mind sharing the pay rate they receive. Our GAs receive $3000 per regular semester in addition to tuition payment (but not student fees) and our institution is asking that we provide what other schools pay their GAs. We feel like ours are grossly undercompensated.
Thank you for your time,
Patti
