Great question!

Our level II course are 6 credits each (12 week rotations). I was not around when this was established so I don’t know what the rationale was for this. We have been discussing it though, especially in regards to teaching credit hours calculations. I look forward to the discussions.

Thanks,

WARNING - THIS IS AN EXTERNAL EMAIL

Hello!

Our program is currently reviewing its curriculum and credit hours associated with each class. We are exploring options for increasing the credits associated with our Level II FWs and wondering how programs have determined the number of credits per rotation. Our program falls under our College of Osteopathic Medicine, and their process for clinical hour calculations is not the right fit. We would like to present our own calculation for review and welcome suggestions for a starting point.

Thank you!
Emma
