Re: Daily digest for ot-pd@aotalists.org Bondoc, Salvador L. Prof. 23 Jan 2017 21:53 EST

I include adjuncts in the list of faculty who get evaluated at the end of the semester.
I also get the full-time faculty to assist with evaluating the adjuncts’ teaching and course management.

We don’t have a specific adjunct evaluation form. We use the ACOTE Form F faculty development plan update plus course evaluations as the basis for feedback to adjuncts. Each adjunct is assigned a key faculty member to whom they report directly and who is their designated supervisor

We also follow something similar at Towson—each adjunct has faculty mentor re content and teaching, they are also observed at least once per semester with our peer evaluation form, students complete the standard online course eval and they have access to the results, and we use the Form F for those who teach at least two classes /year.

Hello,

This is my first time compiling and submitting the Annual Report in my new Program Director position, and it seems that question V8 was not one which was previously asked (at least I do not see it on last year’s report.

Can anyone tell me how I would know what the HHS Poverty Guidelines were for the students who were admitted in 2013 and just graduated in 2016??

These are new questions mandated by outside of ACOTE. Your admissions people might have this information. It is a question asked on our graduate school admissions for the university.

I got information from our financial aid office, but they were clear that they did not know the total package of student debt - only what was garnered through Pell grants and campus resources.

That is what our financial aid office told us as well. If students have private loans, unless the students tell us we will not know the total amount of debt

I got information from our financial aid office, but they were clear that they did not know the total package of student debt - only what was garnered through Pell grants and campus resources.

I got the aggregate data from our financial aid office as well. To the best of my knowledge, sharing of individual information may violate confidentiality as we really don’t have the ‘need’ to know.

I was able to get this aggregate information from the Director of my campus' Office of Financial Aid.
He provided me with the number of students who applied for financial aid - - and of this number, the number of students whose personal or family incomes fell below the HHS Poverty Lines.

Hello,
This is my first time compiling and submitting the Annual Report in my new Program Director position, and it seems that question V8 was not one which was previously asked (at least I do not see it on last year’s report.

Can anyone tell me how I would know what the HHS Poverty Guidelines were for the students who were admitted in 2013 and just graduated in 2016??

Thank you
